Sorry I haven't been updating my blog for some time. I was kept busy on course to change an aircraft. As some of you know, I have already changed the aircraft I fly. I'm now flying a Piper Warrior 3.
Piper Warrior 3. Picture courtesy of my fellow academy mate Nik Hazman. Thanks Nik!
At last however, everything is now stabilized and now I'm on course to collect my hours till I hit 145 hours for single engine. Of late, I've been doing intense flights. Most notable was collecting 11 hours in 5 days .
Anyway here are a few pictures I took during my General Handling exercise flights
And that's how it looks like from my view.
Just a regular steep turn. Anyone feeling nauseated yet? Bank angle 45 degrees.
Here's another.. Try not to tilt your head while looking at this picture. Yeap, that's how steep it is.
And here's another one to the left.
Here we are, arriving towards Kota Bharu airfield. Was to practice a force landing overhead the airfield.
:
And here's the runway from above.
And those were just solo flights. Recently I've been back into navigation flying. Doing mutual flights with friends is a must once you're in PPL stage. Trust me, you don't want to spend a 2-3 and a half hour flight ALONE. Here are the some pictures I/we managed to took :
Meet 'Future Captain' Ong Wei Yap of Batch 45. The first person I did mutual flying with. Thanks for the first hand opportunity.
Yeah, I had time to study at 5000 feet...
Doing a Touch and Go on Terengganu airfield.
Taking pictures with your partner on board: Part of the checklist.
What do you see? Enroute to Tasik Kenyir.
This is my flight. And how our instrument look .
En Route to Kuala Relai. Scattered cumulus clouds.
Beautiful Tasik Kenyir in Terengganu.. I've never been there on ground before.. Only 7500 feet ..
Beautiful it is.
Mountains along the way.
And here's Terengganu's airfield from the sea at 6500 feet.
Along the coastline of Terengganu.
Me and Hong.
'Flying is all about enjoying' said by the great flyers of our day. And I'm enjoying every minute of it.Stay tuned for more flying..
