A sigh of relief.

And after 21 days of no flying due to the mischievous weather, finally I got back up in the sky I sorely missed. It felt great again being able to fly again. Finally 'got the monkey off my back' and was able to resume circuit training with Captain Chiam. We basically done all forms of circuits today : Normal, Glide, Low Level,Flap-less, as well as an EFATO or Engine Failure After Take Off. Very interesting exercise to perform.
A pilot has to do all necessary actions and checks within under 10 seconds and immediately within 30 degree of his vision, must select an open area to land. Dangerous but equally life-saving to learn these stuffs!

Despite the rust formed from the absence of flying for 21 days and countless mistakes I did today , e.g. had problems maintaining straight and level, maintaining the runway centreline on the approach to land, rounding off too high before landing, excessive corrective actions done on the approach, jerky motions, all these resulting a 100 lines of  handwritten ' MAINTAIN CENTRELINE ON APPROACH '. I did'nt really care about the 'punishment' I received, I was just glad to finally fly again.

To add the 'cherry on top of the cake',  I was cleared by Captain Chiam to proceed for a 'Solo Check' stage. A stage whereby cadets are to undergo a flight with a senior instructor and that instructor will clear whether or not the cadet is ready for his first solo flight. If I am able to clear tomorrow, i'm going to be flying my FIRST SOLO! For a pilot, his first solo is always his most crucial stage, it is to ensure whether he can carry out landings and take offs safely or not and at the same time, being able to Aviate , Navigate, and Communicate. Just try recalling your first times of doing something BIG, people, and how did you feel?

Well, gotta go finish up my 100 lines of vocab. Stay tuned for solo post y'all!
